Veterinary Assistant

Tracy

Tracy is currently a middle school teacher transitioning back into tech-ing after 25 years out of the field.  She worked as a tech for 10 years while also volunteering at the Columbus Zoo, Ohio Parrot Rescue, Ohio Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, and The International Society for Endangered Cats. She specializes in newborn mammal care, birds, and medical rehab.

She spent 20 years in Florida where she was also a teacher and medical foster for the Hillsborough and Pasco County humane societies.  She was also a frequently failing medical foster for The Afghan Hound Rescue of South Florida.  Every Afghan she has ever fostered, she has kept!!

Although she has been out of the veterinary field, caring for animals has always been her passion. She is excited to be reinstating her veterinary technology license at Columbus State Community College and looking forward to working for PACC full time in the Spring.
