Chelsie has been with us since June of 2020 where she started in the kennels and then worked her way over to the medical side. She got her BA in zoology with a second major in psychology from the University of Akron in 2012 (Go Zips!). Since graduation, she has been pursuing her dream to work with animals by working as a seasonal keeper at the Columbus zoo as well as working here with us. When she is not working one of her three jobs or caring for her kids, she tries to go to parks and of course visit the zoo! Chelsie also enjoys doing arts and crafts and just enjoying time at home with her own mini zoo where she has around 30 pets including cats, dogs, ferrets, guinea pigs, mice, a rabbit, various reptiles and a pair of axolotls.
